Trial Classes & Booking

How do trial classes work?
A trial lets you or your child jump into a regular class to experience what it’s really like — the coaches, the other students, and all the fun. We run trials for all our classes, from preschool through to adults. You can book a trial online and pick a day and time that suits you. We’ll send you everything you need to know before the class.

How much does a trial class cost?
Trial pricing varies depending on the class type. You can see the pricing on the relevant class page when you book your trial. We don’t do free trials, but a paid trial means you get the full, real class experience, not a watered-down version.

What should I wear?
Comfortable, fitted clothing you can move in — think leggings or bike shorts and a fitted top. Avoid loose or baggy clothing as it can get caught on equipment. Bare feet are best (no socks or shoes on the floor). Hair needs to be tied back securely. This applies to both kids and adults!

What happens after the trial?
If you or your child loved it (and they usually do!), you can enrol straight away into a regular weekly spot. We’ll help you find the best class for your age and level. No lock-in contracts, we only need 7 days' notice if you decide to cancel classes

Can parents watch the class?
For our preschool Guardian-Assisted classes (Trixy’s First Adventure), you’re in the class with your child! For independent preschool classes (Trixy Explorers Club), we have a waiting room with a live-streamed TV feed so you can watch their progress. For older kids’ classes, parents are welcome to watch from our viewing area.

Class Info & Age Groups

What age groups do you cater for?
Everyone! Our preschool program starts from around 1 year old (with a guardian) and goes up to 5. From there, we have classes for Kindy age, primary school, and teens. And yes — we run adult classes too! Whether you’re 3 or 33, there’s a class for you.

What’s the difference between Guardian-Assisted and Independent preschool classes?
Our Guardian-Assisted class (Trixy’s First Adventure) is for little ones up to 5 years old, where you join in and explore movement together. Our Independent class (Trixy Explorers Club) is for kids aged 3–5 who are ready to have a go on their own, building confidence, independence, and school-readiness skills. If your child needs you nearby during their first few independent sessions, that’s totally fine!

What do the classes actually involve?
Our classes combine tumbling (forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels), aerial skills (silks, lyra, trapeze), and creative movement. For our younger kids, classes are story-based adventures led by our character Trixy. For older kids and adults, classes are structured around skill progression with plenty of fun along the way. It’s not traditional gymnastics — it’s more creative, more exciting, and designed to keep you genuinely engaged.

Do I need any experience?
Not at all! Our classes are designed for all levels, from complete beginners to people who’ve been tumbling or doing aerial for years. This goes for kids and adults alike — our teachers meet every student where they’re at and help them progress at their own pace.

Do you run adult classes?
We sure do! Our adult classes are a great way to try something totally different — think aerial silks and lyra in a fun, supportive environment. No experience needed, and it’s an amazing workout. Check out our Adults page for class times and details.
